    1. Hi, the rims are from central wheels ltd, the wheels are then built professionally by a local guy. Cost is approximately £300 per wheel.

  2. Looking very good. I also started a NX Projekt last year. I've got not much time so it's still in work.
    Greets from Austria!

  3. Really like the bikes .So much so I am in the process of doing my own. I wondered what you use to secure the front of the tank after cutting off the lugs

    1. Thanks, combination of the original rear fixing point and an aditional metal flat bar underneath the front end of the tank passing through next to the coil, secured to the tank with 2 10mm nuts welded to the underside of the tank.
      thanks.

  4. Well done Andy! The refinement of your signature style with each build is very impressive. Thanks again for documenting and sharing so much. My own "old school" scrambler NX650 is almost done, and might be the only one in NYC!

  5. May I trouble you for a bit of advice? I'm using a CG125 tank as well. If you don't mind me asking, how do you reduce from the 3/16" petcock to the 5/16" carb fuel intake? I'm also concerned that the small petcock won't allow fast enough fuel flow, but I guess you haven't had a problem.

    1. Thanks for the kind words, the fuel pipe i always use is 6mm diameter neoprene, it is able to connect both tap and carb inlet with the use of suitably sized metal pipe clamps.

  6. Thats a lovely job dude! Im converting my dommie front wheel to a 17 inch using a dommie rear rim and original front hub. Would you know what length spokes I require for this conversion? Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers!
